Sunbird Beach Resort Gold Coast

Sunbird Beach Resort Main Beach, situated less than 100 metres from the beach, offers apartments with balconies. This family-friendly property features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness centre, a sauna, hot tub and tennis and squash courts. Free unlimited WiFi is provided.

All of the self-catered, air-conditioned apartments at Sunbird Beach have a kitchen which includes a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and an oven. Each apartment also has a washing machine.

Sunbird Resort is a 20-minute walk from Marine Mirage shopping centre. The Warner Bros Movie World and Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World are within 30 minutes’ drive from the hotel. Coolangatta Airport is 24 km away.

The hotel has a large terrace with a barbecue and entertainment area.

A small complimentary starter pack is provided in our Apartments with Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Laundry Liquid, Dishwashing liquid, soap, and toilet tissue (1 roll per bathroom). Once these items are used they are not replenished.

The property does not have any policies, procedures or resources in place to accommodate the unique needs of school graduates during the annual "Schoolies Week" period. prices for everything are a little expensive but overall it has been an relaxing, enjoyable stay.
Good location : just 3 mins walk to the beach, 4 mins drive to Sea World Resort and 6 mins drive to Surfers Paradise. We booked an apartment without seaview but was upgraded to one with seaview without having to pay more. What a pleasent surprise.
The only regret is one of the bedroom was without aircon.

Lovely stay
the location, over the road from the beach, and the view of the ocean and Surfers Paradise were amazing from the 20th floor . The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a great kitchen and facilities. The friendly staff let us check in a few hours early after arriving from the UK which was great. Nice pools and garden. Lovely area, near Tedder Ave with its restaurants and shops.
On arrival, the apartment was dirty. Dust everywhere and a rug that was filthy. Disappointing given the cost and a long flight. However, when we reported this, the excellent staff acted immediately by coming to see for themselves. They agreed with us and sent up a cleaner who tried his best but didn't make much difference. He left us the cleaning stuff and we did it ourselves. A brand new rug arrived a few days later so everything was sorted.
